Makarska

The town of Makarska developed around a natural harbour, which is surrounded by the picturesque peninsula of Sveti Petar and Osejava cape. It is the only harbour of its kind between the estuary of the Cetina and Neretva rivers. It provides protection and shelter in bad weather, once to the sailors, pirates and merchants, and today the yachts, sailing and excursion boats of tourists.
